| The gang at LovelyLambeth.com & LotterySquirrel.com needs your help to raise the funds to cover the costs we incurred to spade/hire a big truck to move the Bur Oak tree shown in the center of the above photo. The Bur Oak was directly under some power lines and would have grown into the power lines. This tree was marked for removal. The traditional thing to do is to just cut it down. The gang at LotterySquirrel.com had the opportunity to hire a company with a 90 inch spade to relocate the tree to Lovely Lambeth, Ontario CANADA. We wanted to give it a second chance to be a future source of acorns for squirrels and even deer. Maybe even a few robins or blue jays will make this tree their home. |

It is also known as the MONEY TREE.
YES we did save it (for real -we have supporting video), and moved it to London, Ontario. The tree was FREE, we just had to pay for the TREE TAXI ride to London from Tillsonburg. We are dead tired and have to start working on the fence out back soon. We have raised the $1000 from sales of Lucky pins, Lucky LovelyLambeth.com Horse pins, Lucky Coins and Black Squirrel T-Shirts. The local TV station drove by 1 hour after the tree was in; they didn’t bother to stop — you snooze, you lose!

The tree above sits out from my office window. We watched a red-winged blackbird check it out as soon as we walked away to get a drink of water. |
