One thing that sets Lovely Lambeth apart from other areas of London, Ontario is how nature and humans live together. We have adopted the horse as the mascot for the website LovelyLambeth.com because of the numerous horse farms found in the Lambeth area.

Lambeth is now part of London, Ontario and is located in the southwest area backing onto Highway 402 with easily access to the 401. St Thomas and Port Stanley at the edge of Lake Erie is only about 15 minutes away. Sarnia / Port Huron, Michigan is only an hour away.

Lambeth is unlike other parts of London as there are no high-rises and it has only three traffic lights. Traffic congestion and the pollution that goes along with it - found in the north end of the city - does not affect the Lambeth area. The annual Harvestfest Parade may even put some corn on the cob on your dinner table if you attend the yearly event. Life in Lambeth is like living in a small town on the edge of a big city. Downtown London is only about 12 minutes away.
For bird watchers, many species of birds are only found in the south end of London because of the many retention ponds and manmade lakes. Robins are seen from spring to late fall. Other birds we have photographed are Canada geese, Mallard ducks, red finches, yellow finches, juncos, woodpeckers, northern flickers, hummingbirds, tree swallows, evening grosbeaks, hawks, blue herons, chickadees, blue jays, mourning doves, red winged blackbirds, etc.
Real estate prices are also lower than housing in the north end of the city. New home construction is being built in Foxwood Crossing and North Lambeth.
